Role Description The Professor role at MITS is a full-time, on-site position based in Madanapalle. The Professor will design and deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions, ensuring that course content aligns with institutional and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include mentoring and advising students, guiding project work and dissertations, and maintaining an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. The role also involves conducting and publishing research, securing funded projects where possible, participating in curriculum development, and contributing to departmental and institutional committees. The Professor is expected to support accreditation activities, collaborate with industry and academic partners,



and actively engage in academic events, outreach, and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications
• Advanced academic credentials, typically a Ph.
D. in Engineering, Technology, Management, Computer Applications, or a closely related discipline, with a robust record of teaching and research.
• Demonstrated expertise in relevant subject areas offered at MITS (such as B.

Tech, MCA, MBA programs), with the ability to design curricula and deliver outcome-based education.
• Proven research capabilities, including peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and experience in pursuing funded research or institutional projects.
• Strong teaching skills, including classroom management, student mentoring, assessment design, and the use of modern pedagogical approaches and educational technologies.
• Experience with industry collaboration, internships, or professional consultancy that enhances student exposure to real-world applications and employability.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse academic community and contribute to institutional development.
• Familiarity with accreditation processes (such as AICTE, UGC, NBA), quality assurance frameworks, and academic governance will be considered an advantage.
