Role Description The Field Services Engineer internship is an in office role based in Kochi, supporting the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Evelabs’ connected hospital devices. Interns will assist in configuring equipment, performing routine checks, and troubleshooting technical issues at customer locations. The role involves providing basic technical support, documenting service activities, and coordinating with the engineering and customer support teams to resolve issues promptly. Interns will interact with hospital staff to understand device usage and service needs,



helping ensure reliable operation and a positive user experience. This internship offers hands-on exposure to medical device field service in real-world clinical settings. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Field Service and Preventive Maintenance for hospital-based connected devices.
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support for hardware and basic software issues.
• Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills and the ability to communicate clearly with healthcare professionals.
• Basic understanding of electronics, biomedical equipment, or IoT devices is beneficial.
• Pursuing or having completed a diploma or degree in engineering (biomedical, electronics, electrical, or related fields) is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in hospital environments, follow safety protocols, and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Willingness to learn, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
