RequirementsKey Responsibilities
A. Engineering & Technical Responsibilities

- Independently prepare and review 2D and 3D engineering drawings.

- Develop General Arrangement (GA) layouts, Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other engineering deliverables.

- Interpret engineering inputs, project specifications and design requirements.

- Identify and resolve basic design and constructability issues.

- Support field modifications and engineering requirements.

- Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable engineering and drafting standards.

B. Project Feasibility & Technical Support

- Identify discrepancies in project inputs, drawings and design requirements.

- Evaluate technical challenges and recommend appropriate solutions.

- Support field troubleshooting and site modification requirements.

- Coordinate with senior engineers and project teams to resolve technical issues.

C. Quality Control & Documentation

- Ensure strict adherence to established Quality Control (QC) procedures.

- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance.

- Finalise project documentation and as-built drawings.

- Maintain proper drawing revisions, records and version control.

- Ensure compliance with project-specific and international engineering standards.

D. Process Improvement & CAD Automation

- Contribute to design optimisation and workflow standardisation.





- Identify opportunities for CAD automation and improved engineering workflows.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives.

- Explore opportunities to improve productivity, accuracy and delivery efficiency.

E. Mentorship & Team Collaboration

- Guide and mentor Junior Engineers in technical activities.

- Support knowledge sharing and technical development within the team.

- Review junior team members' work and provide constructive feedback.

- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

What We Are Looking For
Educational Qualification:

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

Experience:

- 2–3 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting and engineering design.

- Experience in telecom infrastructure or structural engineering will be advantageous.

Technical Skills:

- Strong proficiency in 2D CAD drafting.

- Good understanding of steel structures, GA layouts and BOMs.

- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and design inputs independently.

- Knowledge of drawing documentation, revision control and QC procedures.

- Ability to identify and resolve basic design and constructability issues.

Preferred Skills:

- Hands-on experience with 3D modelling tools such as Solid Works, Tekla, Inventor or Advance Steel.

- Exposure to point cloud processing and Scan-to-CAD workflows.

- Familiarity with international engineering standards, particularly North American, European and US standards.

- Awareness of CAD automation and design optimisation practices.

Requirements
• Assist in the design and detailing of secondary roads, surface grading, water distribution, sewer, drainage, and erosion control systems. • Prepare engineering drawings and perform basic calculations for stormwater management, sewer sizing, and water supply. • Support the preparation and maintenance of Civil 3D models; use software tools such as Sewer Gems, Water Gems, Hec-22, and QGIS for project tasks. • Coordinate project documentation, reports, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and client requirements. • Collaborate with senior engineers, designers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and optimize design solutions. • Provide leadership and support to junior engineers and technical staff under guidance, fostering teamwork and development. Qualification: • BE/B. Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent degree. • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in land development, including roads, surface grading, hydraulics and earthworks principles. • Proficient in Civil 3D is mandatory; knowledge of Sewer Gems, Water Gems, Hec-22, and QGIS is highly desirable. • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. • Basic project management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
