Role Description As a Co-Founder at FarmAgro, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping the company’s strategy, operations, and growth. This is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru, requiring close collaboration with the founding team and key stakeholders. You will drive business development, partnerships, and market expansion, while overseeing core functions such as sales, marketing, product direction, and customer engagement.

Day-to-day responsibilities include analysing market opportunities, refining the value proposition, supporting fundraising efforts, and ensuring strong execution across teams. You will also represent the company in external meetings, build relationships with farmers and agribusiness partners, and contribute to building a scalable, technology-driven marketplace for agriculture.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

- Develop business strategy, business models, and go-to-market plans.
- Prepare investor pitch decks, financial projections,



and lead fundraising activities.
- Identify and connect with angel investors, VCs, startup incubators, and funding institutions.
- Build strategic partnerships with agricultural suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
- Develop and execute marketing, customer acquisition, and revenue growth strategies.
- Understand existing challenges faced by Indian farmers and identify business opportunities to solve them.
- Drive marketplace growth, operations, sales, and business development.
- Lead business expansion and build high-performing business and engineering teams in collaboration with the technical leadership.

Mandatory Experience

- Proven experience in startup fundraising and investor pitching.
- Hands-on experience in GTM strategy and business scaling.
- Previous experience building or scaling an e-commerce or marketplace business.
- Agriculture/agritech industry experience and understanding of the Indian agricultural market.
- Strong business development, marketing, sales, and strategic partnership skills.
- Understanding of business financials, revenue models, and unit economics.

We are specifically looking for someone who has actually built, raised funds for or scaled a startup.

Candidates without startup fundraising, GTM, e-commerce scaling or agriculture/agritech experience should not apply.
