Core Responsibilities 1. Plant Operations & Production Management

- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including capacity utilization, yield, process losses, and machine downtime.

2. Project Execution & Greenfield / Expansion Projects (Project Head Scope)
- Lead end-to-end project planning, engineering drawing approvals, contractor management, and site execution.

- Oversee project timelines, cash flows, risk assessments, and budgets using structured methodologies (e.g., Concurrent Engineering).

- Coordinate commissioning, trial runs, and the smooth transition of current projects or plant expansions into regular commercial operations.

3. Quality, Safety,



and Statutory Compliance
- Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, environmental regulations, and EHS protocols (e.g., OSHA, IATF, GMP/ISO standards).

- Coordinate statutory inspections, audits, and compliance documentation with local and regulatory authorities.

- Drive root-cause analyses for quality non-conformances and customer complaints.

4. Resource, Cost & Inventory Control
- Manage plant budgets, monitor operational expenses, and drive cost-optimization initiatives.

- Coordinate with procurement and stores to maintain optimal inventory levels of raw materials, spares, and consumables.

- Evaluate manpower utilization, workforce planning, and cross-functional team leadership.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering); MBA or postgraduate qualification in Operations is an added advantage.

- Experience:
- Minimum 12–15 years in manufacturing, plant management, or industrial project execution.
- Proven track record handling plant turnarounds, greenfield/brownfield projects, or large-scale shop floors (team size of 150–350+ personnel).

- Technical & System Skills:
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and quality management systems (IATF, ISO, GMP).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and data analysis tools.
