We are hiring a General Insurance Sales Manager for an insurance broking firm in Hyderabad. This is a front-end, revenue-focused role that wins new Corporate and SME clients and grows an assigned portfolio.

Responsibilities

- Identify, prospect and onboard new Corporate and SME clients through networking, referrals, outreach, events and channel partners.
- Pitch general insurance solutions to CFOs, HR heads, promoters and risk managers, and take part in tenders and RFPs.
- Manage and grow an assigned client book. Cross-sell property, marine, engineering, liability, motor, cyber and specialty lines, and drive renewals and retention.
- Present quote comparisons and coverage recommendations, and work with the underwriting and placement teams on quotes and negotiations.
- Be the client’s point of contact during claims,



in coordination with the claims team.
- Own premium, revenue and collection targets, track the pipeline, and report to management.

Requirements

- 10–15 years of experience in corporate or SME insurance sales or insurance broking.
- A proven record of acquiring clients and growing premium.
- Experience selling property, liability, marine, engineering, motor and specialty lines.
- Robust presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
- Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred). IRDAI certification is preferred.

Salary: ₹8–10 LPA (fixed), based on experience.
