Company Description Bhanwar Rathore Design Studio (BRDS) is a design education institute known for preparing learners for careers in fields such as fashion, interior, communication, and product design. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Faculty role based in Ahmedabad. The faculty member will plan and deliver engaging classroom sessions, studio work, and workshops aligned with BRDS’s curriculum and learning outcomes. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching core and elective design subjects, guiding learners through projects and portfolio development, and providing constructive feedback on assignments.

The role involves conducting assessments, maintaining learner performance records, and supporting exam preparation and review sessions. Faculty members are also expected to participate in academic meetings, contribute to curriculum enhancement,



collaborate on events such as seminars or exhibitions, and uphold a supportive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

- Strong design foundation and subject-matter expertise in one or more areas such as fashion design, interior design, communication design, product design, or related disciplines.
- Proficiency in classroom instruction, learner mentoring, and portfolio guidance, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and encourage creative thinking.
- Experience with project-based learning, studio teaching, and critiquing design work in a constructive and objective manner.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills to work with diverse learners and academic teams.
- Ability to integrate industry trends, tools, and techniques into teaching, including familiarity with contemporary design practices and workflows.
- Relevant academic background, typically a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Architecture, or a closely related field.
- Prior teaching or training experience in design education, test preparation, or skilled studios is highly beneficial.
