Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Gujarat, India. This role involves providing technical support for desktop computers, laptops, peripherals, and printers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for internal users.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring operating systems and applications, and performing routine maintenance and upgrades.

Engineer will respond to support tickets, document solutions, maintain inventory of IT assets, and escalate complex issues when required. Collaboration with IT infrastructure and network teams is expected to help maintain a stable, secure, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in supporting desktop computers, including installation, configuration, and user support.
- Hands-on experience in technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
- Ability to provide printer support, including setup, connectivity, and resolving common printing problems.
- Solid understanding of computer hardware components and basic hardware repair or replacement.
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems, common office applications, and basic networking concepts.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications) or a diploma/degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach to addressing technical issues.
