Job Title: Cloud Systems Admin Senior Specialist

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office)

Position Description:

Responsibilities:

- Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot GCP Dataflow and Big Query issues, including SQL queries, data ingestion and exports, and security configurations.
- Escalate complex issues to senior support staff or engineering teams when needed.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve customer issues efficiently.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide 24/7 production support, including coverage on weekends, holidays, and outside standard business hours.

- Senior Specialist Exp: 7+ experience in relevant field.

Experience Preferred:

- Strong understanding of data warehousing, cloud computing, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- Hands-on experience building, operating, and troubleshooting batch and streaming data pipelines with Google Cloud Dataflow and Apache Beam.
- Strong SQL skills, including developing and optimizing queries, data models, and workloads in Big Query.
- Experience with data engineering practices, including ETL/ELT, data ingestion and transformation, orchestration, batch and streaming processing, data modeling, and data quality.
- Proficiency in a data engineering programming language, such as Python or Java.
- Ability to monitor pipeline performance, reliability, data quality, and cost, and to investigate and resolve incidents.
- Experience with GCP tools and services such as Dataform, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, and Cloud Logging.
- Experience developing Git Hub and CI/CD pipelines to deploy infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Familiarity with automated testing, documentation, and deployment practices that support maintainable data solutions.
- Ability to work with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Understanding of security, access controls, observability, and operational support standards for data platforms.
- Experience supporting large-scale or business-critical data environments.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Robust written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Additional Information :

Primary qualifications Required:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in technical support, preferably in data warehousing and cloud computing.
