Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Perform incoming material inspection and verify certificates against approved specifications.

- Check material identification, heat numbers, dimensions, thickness and traceability.

- Inspect cutting, edge preparation, fit-up, welding and dimensional tolerances.

- Verify welder identification, WPS applicability and welding consumables control.

- Coordinate RT, UT, MT and PT in accordance with the approved ITP and applicable code requirements.

- Inspect vessel nozzles, flanges, supports, skid frames, equipment supports and lifting attachments against approved drawings and project requirements.

- Witness hydrostatic and other specified pressure/functional tests using approved procedures.

- Maintain inspection reports, weld maps, traceability records, NDT reports and test records.

- Prepare punch lists and non-conformance reports and track corrective actions.

- Verify final painting/coating, preservation, identification plates and equipment marking requirements.

- Compile manufacturing quality records for review by the Senior QC Engineer.
