To oversee and manage Sheet metal shop with core knowledge on stretch forming & Forming operations, ensuring productive production, adherence to quality standards, and timely delivery of components while maintaining safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management Supervise daily activities. Allocate jobs to machines and operators based on production schedules. Monitor performance and ensure optimal utilization. Quality Implement in-process inspection and coordinate with the quality team. Address non-conformance and initiate corrective actions. Knowledge on AS D requirements Team Management Lead and train stretching operators and technicians. Maintain discipline and safety standards on the shop floor. Conduct skill development programs for operators. Maintenance & Troubleshooting Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines. Troubleshoot programming and operational issues. Process Improvement Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Optimize cycle times and reduce scrap/waste. Documentation & Reporting Maintain production records, tool usage logs, and machine health reports. Prepare daily/weekly production reports for management.
