Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer - ETD Seals group is responsible for the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of sealing technologies supporting SLB/Cameron products and applications. The role involves seal design, material selection, test fixture development, validation testing, and technology development activities to deliver reliable and cost-effective sealing solutions. The engineer will work closely with global product teams, suppliers, technicians, and university research partners while providing subject matter expertise (SME) on sealing technologies.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Design and develop sealing solutions for current and existing products.
- Design and support testing fixtures, test methods, and validation programs.
- Perform seal selection, material evaluation, and failure analysis.




- Lead and participate in design reviews, technical reviews, and risk assessments.
- Support product validation, qualification testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders on technology development initiatives.
- Apply industry standards (API, ISO, etc.) in seal design and qualification.
- Utilize engineering analysis and simulation tools to support design decisions.
- Develop and improve engineering design tools, workflows, and digital solutions.
- Manage and guide university students, technicians, and external research activities supporting SLB projects.
