Apply ABAP Cloud and Clean Core principles while designing custom developments.

Use released objects, released APIs, approved enhancement points, and supported extensibility options wherever possible.

Perform ATC checks, code reviews, performance analysis, unit testing, and technical quality validation.

Integration Analysis and Design

Analyze end-to-end integration requirements involving SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP Integration Suite, peripheral applications, and third-party systems.

Evaluate whether integration requirements can be fulfilled through standard SAP capabilities before proposing custom development.

Research and assess available integration options, including:

SAP Business Accelerator Hub APIs

Design custom RAP or OData services only where standard integration capabilities do not meet the business requirement.

Define synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, batch, and near-real-time integration approaches.

Prepare interface solution designs, data mappings, field transformations, validation rules, error-handling mechanisms, monitoring requirements, and reconciliation processes.

Work closely with SAP BTP Integration Suite developers on message mappings, routing, orchestration, security, retries, exception handling, and operational monitoring.

Project Delivery

Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops and technical design discussions.

Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Prepare technical specifications, interface design documents, API assessment documents, mapping specifications, and unit test scripts.

Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
