Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team in Dahisar, Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have experience in technical estimation, costing, tender analysis, and preparation of techno-commercial proposals.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze tender documents, Requests for Quotation (RFQs), technical specifications, and engineering drawings.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Coordinate with the Purchase Department to obtain raw material prices and resolve costing queries.
Coordinate with the Logistics Department for freight calculations based on applicable Incoterms.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and relevant standards, including ASTM, BS, and API.
Provide technical support to the Sales team and respond to customer queries regarding quotations and technical requirements.




Review customer purchase orders, identify discrepancies, and prepare order-wise profitability reports.
Prepare BOQs and Work Orders and coordinate with Design and Production teams.
Maintain accurate documentation of proposals, quotations, revisions, BOQs, Work Orders, and engineering drawings.
Ensure timely submission of proposals and BOQs while maintaining accuracy and adherence to internal processes.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
Understanding of cost estimation, material costing, and techno-commercial proposal preparation.
Knowledge of freight calculations and international trade terms is an advantage.
Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Eligibility Criteria
B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
2–5 years of relevant experience in estimation, costing, tender analysis, or techno-commercial proposal preparation.
