Job description for anETL Tester in the insurance domain
Core responsibilities:
Candidates having 4 years of experience in ETL / data validation with solid SQL Queries, reconciliation, test case design, defect tracking, regression testing, and automation across source, staging and warehouse.
Focus needed on validating end-to-end data movement, transformation accuracy, and reconciliation across insurance data pipelines.
Domain expectation: Candidates should understand insurance processes and data entities such as policy, claims, billing, underwriting, premium, reserves, and reporting controls.
Must-have skills:
Strong acumen with verification and validation mindset.
Advanced SQL, ETL / data testing experience working with Oracle / SQL Server.




Basic data warehousing knowledge including schemas and table structures.
Robust analytical / test design skills.
Experience with any defect tracking tool like HP-ALM, Service Now or JIRA.
Excellent communication skills needed for offshore / onshore model.
Nice to have:
Ability to gain understanding of the domain knowledge to test the data properly
Energetic Data Modelling experience.
Experience with any AI tools + automation tools for testing.
Knowledge of ETL tools like SSIS / SSAS.
Knowledge of XML and parsing.
