Job Description – Senior Staff Nurse – OT

Location: Ovum Hospitals, Hoskote

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Staff Nurse – OT to provide quality nursing care in the Operation Theatre, assist surgical teams, and ensure patient safety and smooth functioning of OT activities.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain the OT, surgical instruments, and equipment.
Ensure proper sterilisation, disinfection, and infection control practices.
Monitor patient safety and assist in pre-operative and post-operative care.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of surgical instruments.
Maintain OT records, checklists, and documentation.
Coordinate with surgeons, anaesthesia teams, and other nursing staff.




Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
Guide and support junior nursing staff in OT procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:
Qualification: GNM / BSc Nursing.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant OT experience in a hospital.
Valid Karnataka Nursing Council registration preferred.
Positive knowledge of surgical procedures, OT protocols, and infection control practices.
Robust communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Preferred: Candidates with hands-on experience in a multispecialty hospital OT.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
