Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Instruction
Teach Economics to Classes XI and XII (CBSE/ICSE/State Board syllabus)
Cover topics like Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Indian Economic Development, Statistics
Plan and deliver engaging lessons using up-to-date teaching methods
Lesson Planning
Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, and daily teaching schedules
Design assignments, worksheets, and projects
Align teaching with board exam requirements
Student Assessment
Conduct tests, exams, and internal assessments
Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback
Track student progress and performance
Classroom Management
Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment
Encourage discussion, critical thinking, and participation
Academic Support
Provide extra help to weak students
Guide students in board exam preparation
Support students with projects and practical work
Co-curricular Involvement
Participate in school activities, seminars, and competitions
Organize economics-related events (debates, quizzes, etc.)
Administrative Duties
Maintain records of attendance and performance
Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings




Follow school policies and reporting procedures

Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Economics (M.A. Economics)
B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – usually mandatory
CTET / State TET (depending on school requirements)

Experience
2–5 years of teaching experience preferred
Experience teaching senior secondary classes is highly valued

Skills Required
Robust subject knowledge in Economics
Good communication and presentation skills
Ability to simplify complex concepts
Classroom management skills
Basic computer knowledge (Smart boards, MS Office, online teaching tools)

Work Environment
Private schools, public schools, junior colleges, or coaching institutes
Full-time role, usually aligned with academic calendar

Salary is based on previous exeperience

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
