Category Key Duties
Schematic & Blueprint Reading • Interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, and loop plans.
Panel Assembly & Mounting • Mount physical components inside enclosures, including PLCs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers (MCBs/MCCBs), VFDs, transformers, and switches.
Perform mechanical prep work such as drilling, tapping, and cutting backplates.
Wiring & Termination • Execute point-to-point wiring, cable crimping, lugging, ferruling, and wire looming/dressing.
Connect external machine and field wiring to the control panel.
Testing & Quality Control • Conduct continuity tests, insulation resistance checks (megger testing), and functional dry-runs before dispatch or installation.
Troubleshoot and rectify wiring or logic errors.
