Job Description: Quality Control Executive – Food Testing Laboratory

Job purpose

To perform quality control testing of food, beverage and food-related samples to ensure compliance with applicable food safety regulations, FSSAI requirements, approved testing methods, laboratory SOPs and quality management systems.
Roles and responsibilities

A. Food sample testing and analysis
Receive, register, label and prepare food and beverage samples for laboratory testing.
Perform physical, chemical and physicochemical analysis of food products.
Test parameters such as moisture, ash, acidity, pH, fat, protein, salt and other product-specific characteristics.
Analyze food samples for additives, preservatives,



contaminants and nutritional parameters, as applicable.
Conduct testing of cereals, spices, dairy products, edible oils, packaged foods, beverages and other food commodities.

B. Laboratory equipment and instrumentation
Operate laboratory instruments such as analytical balances, pH meters, moisture analyzers, UV-Visible spectrophotometers, HPLC and GC, depending on the testing scope.
Perform instrument calibration checks and routine maintenance.
Prepare reagents, reference standards and volumetric solutions.
Ensure instruments are fit for use before conducting analysis.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
