Job Description – Billing Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer to manage project billing, quantity measurements, contractor bills, and cost documentation for real estate projects. The candidate should have solid knowledge of civil engineering measurements, BOQs, and billing procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and verify contractor bills, RA bills, and final bills.
Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, and measurement sheets.
Verify quantities executed at the site against drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, contractors, and vendors for billing-related matters.
Check contractor claims, variations, extra items, and deviation statements.
Maintain billing records, cost sheets, and project documentation.
Assist in preparing work orders, rate analysis, and reconciliation statements.




Monitor project costs and ensure billing accuracy.
Conduct joint measurements with contractors and site teams.
Ensure timely submission and processing of bills as per company procedures.

Requirements
Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
3–6 years of relevant experience in billing for real estate or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and contractor billing.
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
Familiarity with civil drawings, specifications, and measurement standards.
Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and coordination abilities.

Preferred Profile: Candidates with experience in residential and commercial real estate projects will be preferred.
