Position: Service Manager – Diesel Engine & DG Sets

key: Excellent Knowledge of Diesel engines

Complete knowledge of diesel engine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and overhauling.
Expertise in engine dismantling, reconditioning, assembly and performance testing.
Knowledge of fuel injection systems, injectors, turbochargers, lubrication, cooling systems, pistons, liners, crankshafts, bearings and cylinder heads.
Ability to diagnose engine failures, identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
Knowledge of preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and DG set electrical systems.
Ability to estimate spare parts, material costs, manpower requirements and repair timelines.
Expertise in managing service teams, minimising equipment downtime and ensuring maximum DG set availability.
Direct reporting to the Managing Director (MD).
