Job Description – QC Chemist (RM & PM)

Position: QC Chemist – Raw Material (RM) & Packaging Material (PM)Experience: 2–4 YearsDepartment: Quality Control (QC)Location: Haridwar

Job Summary

We are looking for a QC Chemist with 2–4 years of experience in the inspection, testing, and quality control of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM), preferably in the cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct sampling, inspection, and testing of incoming raw materials and packaging materials.
Perform physical, chemical, and analytical testing of RM and PM as per approved specifications.
Verify COA (Certificate of Analysis) and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Inspect packaging materials such as bottles, caps, jars, labels, cartons, tubes, and other packaging components.
Prepare and maintain QC inspection reports, test records, and documentation.
Ensure proper identification, labelling, and storage of approved, rejected, and under-testing materials.
Coordinate with the Purchase, Stores, Production,



and QA teams regarding material quality issues.
Handle non-conforming materials and raise quality deviations wherever required.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, and applicable quality standards.
Support internal and external audits and maintain laboratory hygiene.

Required Skills & Qualifications
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent qualification.
2–4 years of experience in RM and PM quality control.
Hands-on experience in raw material and packaging material testing.
Knowledge of analytical instruments and laboratory testing procedures.
Understanding of COA, SOPs, GMP, and GLP.
Positive documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Industry: Cosmetics, Personal Care, Ayurvedic, FMCG or Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

Key Competencies: Attention to detail, analytical skills, problem-solving, and coordination.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
