Key ResponsibilitiesTesting
Perform milk quality tests: Somatic Cell Count (SCC), Methylene Blue Reduction Test (MBRT), antibiotic residue and adulteration screening
Run mycotoxin tests: Aflatoxin M1 (milk), Aflatoxin B1 and Zearalenone (feed)
Analyse feed and silage samples
Follow lab SOPs for sample handling, testing and equipment calibration
Learn and perform current testing procedures as they are added to the lab

Inventory Management
Track stock of test strips, kits, reagents, sample containers and cleaning supplies
Monitor expiry dates and raise purchase requests before stock runs low
Maintain equipment logs and flag faults
Act as the main point of contact with testing equipment suppliers for orders, servicing and technical support

Lab Cleaning
Clean and sanitise benches, glassware and equipment after each testing cycle
Dispose of samples and lab waste safely
Keep the lab organised and audit-ready

Report Generation
Enter test results into lab records the same day




Prepare daily and weekly test reports for management
Escalate out-of-range or unusual results immediately and discuss with your superior

Valuable to Have (Given Extra Consideration)
Experience or knowledge about working in a dairy processing plant (e.g. yogurt, paneer, ghee, butter, cheese) will be given extra consideration
Understanding of plant operations, including the milk quality (and which parameters like fat, protein, minimum bacterial load, etc.) preferred for different products and the chemicals, cultures and additives used in/for processing
Ability to support further research and projects, including running trial tests, collecting data and helping analyse results

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
