Hikari House is a recent Japanese-inspired all-day café in Dwarka Sector 7, Current Delhi, with 45 seats indoors and on an open terrace, plus a pool table, screenings and creative activities. We're looking for a hands-on Head Chef to lead our kitchen from day one.

What you'll cook

All-day breakfast and omelettes, Japanese soufflé pancakes, tamago and katsu sandos, burgers, pasta, katsu curry, teriyaki bowls, hand-stretched pizza from in-house dough, and fried small plates like fries and chicken karaage. Veg and non-veg; most items eggless.

What you'll do

• Cook on the line every service and run the pass

• Lead and train a small team (commis chef and kitchen helper)

• Run daily prep, stock ordering and stock rotation





• Control food cost and waste

• Maintain FSSAI hygiene standards and strict veg/non-veg separation

What we're looking for

• 4+ years in café or continental kitchens, including at least 1 year as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie

• Robust with eggs, griddle, frying, pasta and sauces; pizza dough experience preferred

• FSSAI hygiene knowledge (FoSTaC certificate a plus)

• Able to cost recipes and place orders

• Japanese or Asian café experience is a strong plus

• Calm under pressure; leads by example
