Position: Sr.QA Engineer

Shifts: 01:00 PM - 10:00 PM (5 days a week)

About the Role

Role and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for both manual and automated testing.
Lead and coordinate QA efforts across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.
Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium (Java), Cypress, and Playwright.
Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and basic security testing.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams (Product, Development, DevOps) to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps, and ensure timely resolution.
Review test results, analyze failures, and provide explicit reports to stakeholders.
Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.




Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA and testability perspective.
Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, tools, and methodologies, including adoption of modern automation tools like Playwright.

Required Skills
4+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including extensive manual and automation testing experience.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Handson experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as:
Selenium with Java (Mandatory)
Cypress (If)
Playwright (Mandatory)
Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Experience in defect tracking and test management tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Solid analytical, problemsolving, and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams in a fastpaced setting.
