About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Testing Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript, focusing on UI automation, framework development, API testing, and automation best practices.

Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
Create and execute cross-browser automated test scripts for web applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, end-to-end, and API testing.
Develop reusable automation components and test utilities.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines.
Identify, analyze, and report defects with transparent reproduction steps.
Troubleshoot test failures across application, script, and environment levels.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams on requirements and test scenarios.
Participate in code reviews and improve automation standards.




Maintain test documentation, reports, and metrics.

Preferred candidate profile
5+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
Strong hands-on expertise in Playwright and TypeScript.
Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks.
Knowledge of Playwright locators, assertions, fixtures, hooks, and Page Object Model (POM).
Experience in cross-browser and parallel test execution.
Good understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals.
Experience with API testing and REST APIs using Postman or Playwright API testing.
Solid knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies.
Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
