Role & responsibilities
Pan-India Statutory Compliance Management:
Ensure end-to-end compliance with all central and state-specific labor laws (e.g., Shops & Establishment Acts, Factories Act, CLRA, Minimum Wages, etc.)
Monitor changes in legislation and ensure timely implementation and communication.
Pan India Licensing & Registration:
Handle registration, renewal,Amending the licenses like CLRA, Shops & Establishments, Labour Welfare Fund, Trade license , GPNOC etc.
Liaise with government departments for various statutory registrations.
Documentation & Record Maintenance:
Maintain updated compliance trackers, registers, and audit-ready documentation.
Ensure timely filing of statutory returns such as PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, where applicable.
Vendor/Contractor Compliance:
Monitor and ensure compliance by all third-party vendors and contractors under applicable labor laws.
Conduct regular audits of contractor documents and compliance status.
Statutory Audits & Inspections:
Coordinate and handle government inspections and internal/external.




Preparing and sharing the documents to the clients audit and closing the findings if any raised by the client.
Draft replies to show cause notices or non-compliance reports.
Payroll & Perks Compliance:
Ensure accurate deduction and remittance of statutory like PF, ESI, PT and LWF. (Pan india remittance exposure required).
Work closely with payroll teams to ensure compliance in salary structures.
Implementing and intimating the Minimum wages to the payroll team as on when its changes.
Employee Grievances Related to Compliance:
Address employee queries regarding statutory perks like PF withdrawal, ESIC perks, gratuity, maternity benefits, etc.
MIS & Reporting:
Prepare and submit periodic compliance reports and dashboards to management.
Maintain repository of compliance certificates and proofs.
Others:
Supporting and attending clients calls related to the compliance issue.
Attending and supporting court hearing related to labour issues.
Preparing the holiday list for the Pan India warehouse as per the statutory requirements.
