ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Staff Accountant, you will manage the complete books of accounts for assigned US clients, from day-to-day transactions through the month-end close, and be a reliable point of contact for those clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Record financial transactions accurately and on time in accounting software (QuickBooks / Xero / Yardi)
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Accounts Payable – record vendor bills and process payments
Accounts Receivable – record customer invoices, apply payments and follow up on overdue invoices by email/phone
Complete the monthly close: reconcile and review books within prescribed deadlines
Review the books for accuracy and completeness, and flag issues proactively
Research and suggest solutions to accounting challenges faced by clients




Communicate directly with clients over email, chat and phone – share updates, request information and resolve queries promptly

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification in accounting
0–2 years of accounting experience (US accounting experience is a plus; freshers with solid fundamentals are welcome)
Good understanding of accrual-based accounting and US GAAP
Solid written and spoken English
Detail-oriented, with good organisational and time-management skills
Self-driven, able to work independently and committed to meeting deadlines
Flexibility during month-end close and client deadlines
