Position: Internal Auditor (Payment Audit)
Location: HO Kolkata
Department: Commercial

Key Responsibilities
Review and verify financial transactions as per defined SOPs, policies, and internal controls.
Check payment transactions for accuracy, completeness, authorization, and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accounting standards, and organizational policies.
Identify and investigate payment discrepancies, irregularities, errors, and suspicious transactions.
Assess payment processes to identify potential fraud, financial risks, control gaps, or mismanagement.
Review audit findings and follow up with concerned stakeholders for timely corrective and preventive actions.
Track and verify implementation of audit observations and recommendations.
Recommend improvements to enhance financial efficiency, payment controls,



process accuracy, and risk management.
Maintain proper audit documentation, working papers, and reports for future reference.
Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, and other relevant teams to resolve audit observations and ensure process compliance.

Candidate Profile

Educational Qualification
B.Com / Bachelors degree in Commerce or a related discipline.
Robust working knowledge of MS Excel / Advanced Excel is mandatory.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Payment Audit, Internal Audit, Finance Accounts, or Transaction Processing .
Experience in FMCG, Distribution, Logistics or Manufacturing will be preferred.
