Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester with robust expertise in data validation, data warehousing, and ETL testing. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity across data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
Validate ETL processes from source systems to target data warehouses/datamarts
Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and data quality checks
Develop and execute ETL test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Perform source-to-target mapping (STTM) validation
Validate data transformations, aggregations, and business rules
Write complex SQL queries for backend data testing and analysis
Identify, log, track, and follow up on data defects using defect management tools
Perform end-to-end data testing, incremental load testing, and regression testing
Validate batch jobs, schedules, and workflows




Work with large datasets and ensure performance and scalability validation
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for requirement understanding and defect resolution
Prepare test execution reports and data validation summaries

Required Skills
511 years of hands-on experience in ETL / Data Warehouse Testing
Strong expertise in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, aggregation functions)
Positive understanding of ETL tools such as:
Informatica, Ab Initio, Talend, DataStage, SSIS (any one or more)
Experience with Data Warehousing concepts:
Star / Snowflake schema
Fact and Dimension tables
Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
Solid understanding of ETL testing types:
Source-to-target testing
Transformation testing
Incremental and full load testing
Experience with Unix/Linux commands
Knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, ALM, etc.)
