Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on experience in Creo, AutoCAD, 3D modelling, 2D manufacturing drawings and sheet metal design. The ideal candidate should have experience working on Genset / Diesel Engine components, Canopy, Base Frame and Acoustic Enclosure design.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and modify 3D models, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings using Creo / Creo Parametric and AutoCAD.
Design and develop sheet metal components, including Canopy, Base Frame, Fuel Tank and enclosure components.
Work on Genset / DG Set / Diesel Engine components and mechanical auxiliary components.
Develop and support Acoustic Enclosure / Acoustic Container designs.
Prepare and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and engineering documentation.
Work on ECR / ECN and engineering change management processes.
Develop and modify casting components/models as per design and manufacturing requirements.
Coordinate with manufacturing,



engineering and cross-functional teams for design development and issue resolution.
Work with Windchill / PLM systems for drawings, BOM, revisions and engineering data management.
Support Genset testing, validation, emission and compliance activities, where required.
Ensure designs meet manufacturing requirements, quality standards and customer specifications.
Valuable verbal and written communication skills.
