What youll do
Scout candidate routes from the literature and judge which are practical rather than merely published
Run small-scale trials that test the largest unknown first, so a route that will fail fails early
Assess feasibility against real constraints: reagent availability, equipment fit, and cost at the volume the client actually needs
Hand promising routes to the scale-up team with enough documentation that nothing has to be rediscovered
