Monitor supplier performance through scorecards and periodic reviews.
Lead supplier capability enhancement programs to improve quality and process maturity.

APQP & Recent Supplier Development
Lead Supplier APQP activities for current projects and supplier onboarding.
Review and approve PPAP documentation and production validation reports.
Evaluate manufacturing processes, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC records.
Ensure supplier readiness before mass production.

Supplier Audits & Compliance
Plan and conduct Supplier System Audits and Process Audits.
Ensure supplier compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and customer-specific requirements.
Identify gaps, track corrective actions, and ensure effective closure.




Support supplier ESG and sustainability compliance initiatives where applicable.

Supplier Quality Issue Management
Lead investigation of supplier-related quality concerns.
Drive root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Problem-Solving methodologies.
Monitor implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
Minimize line stoppages and customer complaints arising from supplier issues.

Cost Reduction & Risk Management
Support supplier cost optimization initiatives through quality improvements.
Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), rejections, and warranty costs.
Identify supplier risks and develop mitigation plans.
Support localization and alternate source development projects.
