Job Purpose

To manage printing and decoration operations for seamless cosmetic tubes, ensuring print quality, colour accuracy, productivity, minimum rejection and timely production.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare machine-wise printing plans based on production and dispatch requirements.
Manage Flexographic, Dry Offset and Screen Printing, hot foiling and other decoration processes.
Control printing parameters, artwork, colour shades, registration and print positioning.
Ensure first-piece approval before starting bulk production.
Manage ink formulation, viscosity, colour matching and batch-to-batch consistency.
Monitor printing defects such as smudging, pinholes, poor ink adhesion, scuffing, missing print, ghosting and foil defects.
Coordinate artwork, pre-press activities, cylinder/plate/screen development and colour approvals.
Improve machine utilisation, output and changeover time while reducing rejection, ink wastage and consumable costs.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, PPC and Development teams to ensure smooth operations.

Printing plan achievement: 95 100%.
Minimum printing rejection, colour defects and customer complaints.
First-piece approval: 100%.
Maximum practical machine utilisation.
Continuous reduction in changeover time and ink wastage.

Qualification Experience
Diploma/Degree in Printing Technology or Packaging.
10+ years of experience in plastic tube printing and decoration.
Robust practical experience in Flexographic, Dry Offset and Screen Printing.
Experience in cosmetic/pharmaceutical packaging preferred.
Knowledge of colour matching, inks, printing plates, screens and printing defect control.
