Fitter Trainee

Role Purpose
Support fitting, finishing, and assembly of aerospace components while developing practical skills under experienced supervision.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with fitting, drilling, reaming, tapping, deburring, and assembly as instructed.
Learn to read engineering drawings and understand basic dimensions and tolerances.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments after training.
Ensure components are free from burrs, sharp edges, and handling damage.
Follow approved work instructions and maintain component identification.
Report defects, dimensional concerns, or tool damage to the supervisor.
Maintain tools, workstations, and assigned production records.
Follow safety, PPE, 5S, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention practices.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of fitting operations, tools, and measurements.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn precision workmanship.
Discipline, teamwork, and ability to follow instructions.
