Urgent Hiring - Retina Surgeon Specialist

Position: Consultant Retina Surgeon

Department: Ophthalmology / Vitreo-Retina

Qualifications
MS/DNB in Ophthalmology from a recognized institution.
Fellowship in Vitreo-Retina or equivalent specialized training.
Valid medical registration.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage retinal and vitreoretinal disorders.
Perform retinal surgeries and procedures as per clinical expertise.
Manage conditions such as retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular disorders, and vitreous diseases.
Evaluate patients and recommend appropriate medical or surgical treatment.
Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-up care.
Coordinate with other ophthalmology specialists for comprehensive patient management.
Maintain accurate clinical records and follow patient-safety protocols.

Candidate Requirements




Robust expertise in retinal diagnosis and surgical management.
Positive clinical decision-making and patient-counselling skills.
Ability to manage complex retinal cases.
Freshers with relevant retina fellowship training and experienced specialists may apply, subject to the hospitals requirements.
