Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain MongoDB production, staging, and development environments.
Perform installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migration of MongoDB databases.
Manage Replica Sets, Sharding, and High Availability architectures.
Monitor database health, capacity, performance, and availability.
Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and index management.
Configure and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions.
Troubleshoot production incidents, replication issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
Implement database security controls, user management, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
Collaborate with application, cloud, infrastructure, and security teams for project delivery and support.
Automate routine DBA activities using Shell, Python, or scripting tools.
Participate in change management, release activities, and on-call support.
Prepare RCA reports and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.

Required Technical Skills




Robust hands-on experience with MongoDB Administration.

Database Security
Monitoring & Alerting
Robust Linux administration knowledge.
Positive understanding of Windows Server administration.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Knowledge of automation and scripting (Shell/Python).
Familiarity with MongoDB Ops Manager, Compass, Atlas, or equivalent tools.
Understanding of ITIL processes, Change Management, and Incident Management
