Role & responsibilities To support kitchen operations and independently handle basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of senior chefs.
Preferred candidate profile
Carry out food preparation as per daily production requirements.
Assist in cooking and preparing food items according to standard recipes.
Maintain proper portioning and minimize food wastage.
Ensure food items are stored at the correct temperatures.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations.
Follow FIFO and hygiene standards.
Coordinate with team members to ensure timely food production.
Follow instructions from the Chef de Partie and senior chefs.
Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables and other ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils.
