Role & responsibilities We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage accounting operations, manufacturing accounts, inventory, costing, taxation, and financial reporting at its factory unit near Kharagpur.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain and finalize books of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation.
Handle store purchase entries, sales order entries, and purchase billing.
Manage manufacturing accounting, product costing, cost variance analysis, inventory, WIP, and finished goods.
Ensure accurate accounting of production, material consumption, and scrap.
Handle GST returns, reconciliations, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports for management.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Support budgeting, forecasting,



and cash flow management.
Maintain compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.
Supervise junior accounting staff and coordinate with production teams, vendors, and banks.

Preferred candidate profile
B.Com is mandatory; M.Com / CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) will be preferred.
58 years of relevant experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing.
Robust hands-on experience in GST, TDS, taxation, costing, and inventory accounting.
Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and advanced MS Excel.
Solid analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
