JR. CHEMIST
Industry: Liquor Manufacturing, Blending & Bottling
Experience: 0 - 6 Years
Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry / M.Sc. Chemistry (preferred)

Key Responsibilities
Preparation of blends in blending section, blend reduction, maturation and filtration processes, Dm water to ensure product quality and consistency.
Conduct routine laboratory testing of raw materials, Extra Neutral Alcohol (ENA), blended liquor, Special spirits and finished products.
Perform quality tests such as alcohol strength/ABV, specific gravity, pH, TDS and other applicable chemical parameters as per approved procedures.
Collect samples from blending tanks, storage tanks and bottling lines and maintain proper sample identification.
Check product quality during bottling, including filling consistency and applicable quality parameters.
Maintain laboratory records, test reports, batch records and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, SOPs, hygiene requirements and applicable statutory procedures.
Identify quality deviations, report non-conformities to the QC/QA supervisor and assist with corrective actions.
Handle laboratory instruments, glassware and chemicals safely,



ensuring proper calibration and maintenance.
Coordinate with Production and Bottling teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Follow laboratory safety protocols, PPE requirements and housekeeping standards.
Support internal audits, quality inspections and other laboratory activities as assigned.

Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Analytical Chemistry and Quality Control.
Understanding of alcohol testing, blending and bottling processes.
Knowledge of laboratory instruments, titration and sample preparation.
Valuable observation, documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to follow SOPs, safety procedures and quality standards.
Basic MS Excel and laboratory report preparation skills.

Candidate Profile
Freshers and experienced candidates with 0 to 6 years of relevant experience may apply.
Candidates with experience in distillery, liquor manufacturing, beverage, food or chemical manufacturing QC laboratories will be preferred.
Candidates should be willing to work at the manufacturing unit in East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh.
