Role & responsibilities
Design plastic injection moulds, dies, jigs, fixtures, and other tooling components.
Prepare 3D models, 2D drawings, detailed manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings.
Work on mould design, core and cavity design, parting lines, sliders, lifters, and ejection systems.
Coordinate with tool makers, die makers, CNC programmers, and production teams for tool development.
Ensure mould designs meet product specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
Troubleshoot mould design issues and support mould trials, modifications, and troubleshooting.
Review component feasibility, manufacturability, and design changes.
Maintain design documentation and ensure timely completion of projects.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid knowledge of plastic injection mould design and tool room processes.
Experience in tool making, die making, and mould manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD software such as UG NX, AutoCAD.
Knowledge of 3D modelling, 2D drafting, GD&T;, and engineering drawings.
Understanding of mould materials, machining processes, CNC operations, and mould fitting.
Ability to coordinate with tool room and production teams.
