Role - Senior QA Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Analyst with strong experience in the Insurance domain, specifically Life Insurance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality assurance processes, workflow/case management systems, and will be comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and business analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and related artifacts to design comprehensive test cases.
Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts to ensure full coverage of functional requirements.
Execute test cases manually and/or using automation tools where applicable.
Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA and ensure timely resolution.
Work closely with business analysts, developers, and project managers to clarify requirements and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in requirement walkthroughs, design discussions, and defect triage meetings.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and work directly with business users to validate end-to-end workflows.




Be able to travel to customer locations as required for onsite project delivery, training, or support.

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in QA and software testing.
Robust domain expertise in Life Insurance processes (New Business, Underwriting, Policy Administration, Claims, etc.)
Solid understanding of Workflow and Case Management platforms; exposure to BPM platforms is a strong plus.
Proven experience creating test cases from BRD/FSD documents.
Proficiency in using JIRA for defect tracking and project management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset.
Adaptable to travel for customer engagements as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to automation testing tools or frameworks.
Knowledge of enterprise platforms such as BPM, Rules Engines, or Insurance Core Systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
