Job Description: Resident Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Resident Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to provide comprehensive women's healthcare services, including obstetric care, gynaecological consultations, pregnancy management, and reproductive healthcare.

The ideal candidate should have robust clinical expertise, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to manage routine gynaecological cases, antenatal and postnatal care, and obstetric emergencies within their scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine gynaecological examinations and consultations.
Diagnose and manage menstrual disorders and other gynaecological conditions.
Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
Monitor pregnancies and assess maternal and foetal health.
Manage normal deliveries and identify high-risk pregnancies.
Recognise and manage obstetric emergencies within clinical expertise.
Counsel patients on family planning, contraception, fertility, and reproductive health.




Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend necessary investigations.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Ensure patient safety, confidentiality, and adherence to medical protocols.
Coordinate with other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.

Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: MS / DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant clinical experience.
Solid knowledge of obstetric and gynaecological procedures.
Experience in antenatal care, normal deliveries, and management of gynaecological conditions.
Positive communication, counselling, and clinical decision-making skills.
Compassionate and patient-centric approach.
Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
