Job Description: Senior Observability Engineer Datadog & Splunk

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Observability Engineer with hands-on expertise in Datadog, Splunk, and monitoring solutions to ensure application performance, infrastructure reliability, and production stability.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure and manage Datadog dashboards, monitors, alerts, APM, and infrastructure monitoring.
Develop Splunk SPL queries, dashboards, reports, and alerts for log analysis.
Implement end-to-end observability using metrics, logs, and distributed traces.
Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, APIs, and Kubernetes settings.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and support incident management.




Automate monitoring tasks using Python/Bash and Terraform.
Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, application, and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability.

Required Skills:
Solid hands-on experience with Datadog and Splunk.
Knowledge of APM, log management, dashboards, alerting, and observability concepts.
Experience with Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and application monitoring.
Knowledge of scripting, incident management, and production troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and Terraform is preferred.
