Role Description This full-time, in office Service Engineer role is based in Mumbai and involves providing technical service and support for UV Ray S.r.l. equipment at customer locations. The Service Engineer will perform installation, commissioning, preventive and corrective maintenance, and repairs to ensure optimal functioning of systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing technical issues, executing troubleshooting procedures, and documenting service activities and reports. The role also requires coordinating with internal teams for spare parts and technical escalations, training customers on proper equipment use, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality during all service interventions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess robust Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for identifying and resolving equipment issues efficiently.
Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site visits, customer interactions,



and adherence to service schedules.
Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair capabilities for mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems used in industrial equipment.
Candidates should possess clear and skilled Communication skills for collaborating with customers and internal teams and writing service reports.
Relevant diploma or degree in engineering (electrical, electronics, mechanical, or related field) is preferred.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, and use diagnostic tools and measuring instruments.
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, with the ability to work independently in the field.
Willingness to travel within the region and flexibility to respond to urgent service requests.
