Role Description The Video Editor at The Wedding Companion will be responsible for editing wedding footage into cohesive, engaging films, highlights, and social media clips. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting key moments, synchronizing audio, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color correction, and preparing final deliverables in required formats. The role involves working closely with videographers and other creative team members to maintain a consistent visual style and storytelling approach. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular collaboration, flexible scheduling around event timelines,



and adherence to project deadlines.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including working with multi-camera footage and audio synchronization.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, cinematic visuals across different lighting and shooting conditions.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower thirds, simple animations, and visual enhancements.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Strong sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling, especially for wedding and event content.
Attention to detail, ability to follow brand and style guidelines, and robust organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad, collaborate effectively with a creative team, and manage deadlines in a quick-paced setting.
Relevant education or training in film, media, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience editing wedding or event videos is a plus.
