Prepare and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and chef specifications
Execute fundamental continental cuisine cooking techniques including sautéing, braising, and sauce preparation
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and hygiene protocols




Assist in the preparation of mise en place for service periods
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, stovetops, and food processors
Support senior kitchen staff in plating and presentation of dishes to maintain consistency and quality standards
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure dishes meet quality specifications
Collaborate effectively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth workflow during service
Rotate stock and maintain proper storage of ingredients and supplies
Follow all recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines established by the kitchen
