Job DescriptionSummaryRoleSummary/PurposeLead Validation Engineer will participatein embedded firmware and system software validation for the MarkVIe platforms. You will work in a global environment with a skilledcross functional team of engineers creating and improvingstate-of-the-art platform for use in every kind of power generationapplication.JobDescriptionEssentialResponsibilitiesSuccessfulcandidates are expected to exhibit some or all the below areasfor this profile:Owns coordination,Integration, validation (including validation environment), anddebugging of system software. Develop andmaintain system level setups for productvalidation.Ability to see system level “bigpicture” to validate integrated firmware/system software for thearchitectural goals of product.Createvalidation plans, develop, automate & execute test cases alongwith debug/triage of observed/reportedfailures.Excellent debugging andtroubleshooting skills with the aim to become point-of-contact forplatform level issues. Ensure systematic closure of issues forsubsequent releases.Deeply collaborate witharchitect, firmware,



program management and component developmentteams for day-to-days operations as well as for long term roadmapimprovements by feeding back keylearningsPassionate about exploring anddeploying noble methods to improve test coverage, release/testautomation, and efficiency of our firmware/softwarereleases.Collaborate with technicians tomaintain/improve the validation setup.Workwith sourcing team to procure hardware/software required forexecution.Qualifications/RequirementsTestengineer should have 6+ year of experience intesting & test scriptdevelopment.Significant knowledge inembedded testing.knowledge ofBug Life Cycle (Visual studio TFS tool knowledgeis a plus)Hands on experience in usinginstruments (Function Generator, DMM etc.)Testexecution / development in visual studio (C# / spec flow/Gherkin).Should be able to analyzethe failures in the script.DesiredCharacteristicsExperiencewith Control Systems validation forMarkVIe.Experience working with Industryprotocols like MODBUS, Profibus, Profinet, FF, CAN,EthernetSelf-starter, able to work withmulti-functional teams (Hardware, Software, System Test. etc.)Valuable interpersonalskills.Able to work in cross-functional andglobal teamsAdditionalInformationRelocation Assistance Provided:Yes
