About the Opportunity

XML International is recruiting an experienced Senior SDx / SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) Administrator to support the administration, configuration and integration of enterprise engineering information management systems.

We are seeking a technically skilled professional with strong hands-on experience in SDx/SPF administration, document management, workflow configuration, engineering data management and application integration.

This opportunity is particularly suited to professionals who have worked with complex engineering information platforms and understand the operational requirements of large-scale engineering and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

SDx / SPF Administration

- Administer, configure and maintain SDx and SmartPlant Foundation environments.
- Work with SDx or SPF SDV modules, including Schema Object Administration, System Administration, Change Management Administration and Schema Editor.
- Configure SDx suite components, including Smart Data Validator, SmartPlant Fusion, SmartPlant Markup and Data Capture Administration.
- Manage system configurations, forms, methods, conditions, security settings and columnsets.
- Configure and maintain SDx Web Client functionalities and extensibility.

Document & Workflow Management

- Administer engineering document management processes and systems.
- Configure and manage transmittals, workflows, vault management and replication.
- Design and implement workflows aligned with business requirements.
- Support engineering information management and Engineering Data Warehousing (EDW) processes.




- Maintain effective document control and workflow configurations.

System Integration & Data Management

- Develop REST API URLs and support integration with third-party applications.
- Configure workflows supporting Engineering Data Warehousing solutions.
- Support data integration across engineering applications and systems.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to address integration requirements.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Delivery

- Work independently to manage technical assignments and competing priorities.
- Plan and coordinate configuration and administration activities.
- Collaborate with engineering, application and business teams.
- Communicate technical information clearly in a complex stakeholder environment.
- Support reliable and effective operation of enterprise engineering information systems.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong hands-on experience administering and configuring SDx or SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) environments.
- Experience with SDx/SPF SDV modules, including Schema Object Administration, System Administration, Change Management Administration and Schema Editor.
- Experience configuring SDx suite components, including Smart Data Validator, SmartPlant Fusion, SmartPlant Markup and Data Capture Administration.
- Strong understanding of SDx Web Client configuration and extensibility.
- Hands-on experience with document management, transmittals,



workflows, vault management and replication.
- Experience configuring system forms, methods, conditions, security and columnsets.
- Ability to develop REST API URLs for integration with third-party applications.
- Experience designing and configuring workflows based on business use cases for Engineering Data Warehousing solutions.
- Robust organizational skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration and English communication skills.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

- Understanding of Engineering Data Warehousing (EDW) concepts.
- Knowledge of engineering document management processes.
- Exposure to discipline engineering and capital projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Familiarity with Reference Data Library (RDL) standards.
- Experience working with complex enterprise engineering information systems.
