Volumetric processing of US tax filings, assisted by the best technology and workflow automation tools. You'll be an integral senior person managing this team, which takes tax to the future.

Build and train the tax team.

Extensive knowledge of US individual tax (Form 1040) and related filings.

Oversee the entire process of preparation, review, and filing for a high volume of federal and state individual tax returns (1040), including multi-state returns, and supporting workpapers.

Oversee the filing of related international informational forms for individual clients, including FBAR, FATCA (Form 8938), Form 5472, Form 3520/3520-A, Form 8621, and BEA forms, as applicable.

Handle tax matters for high-net-worth individuals, including those with complex income sources such as investments, K-1s from pass-through entities (partnerships/S-corps), rental properties, stock options/RSUs, and foreign income or assets.

Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, conduct tax research, and provide tax planning and advisory services (e.g., estimated tax planning, retirement planning implications, AMT considerations, capital gains strategies).

Oversee replies to Tax Notices (IRS and state) and compile required documentation, including calling state tax authorities and the IRS when needed.

Stay updated on changes in individual tax regulations (including annual inflation adjustments, credits, and deduction changes) and work closely with clients to address their tax-related queries and needs.





Identify potential adjustments due to tax law changes and reflect these in workpapers and returns.

Research complex individual tax topics on a case-by-case basis (e.g. residency/domicile issues, expatriate taxation, dual-status returns, gift tax implications, real estate ownership, capital gains, dividends from businesses).

Maintain and lead client relationships on day-to-day tax matters, supporting partners with service execution and developing extended services.

Responsible for identifying tax issues and proposing potential solutions.

Oversee client deliverables per the scope of work and deadlines set, maintaining the quality of all deliverables.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent field.

- CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) qualification.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with US individual tax filings, especially Form 1040, including experience with high-net-worth and/or expatriate individual returns.
- Experience with CCH tax preparation software is preferred.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations relevant to individual taxation, including multi-state filings and international informational reporting requirements.
- Solid command of the English language, both written and verbal communication.
- Monday-Friday, based in our Bengaluru office, you'll work 3 pm-12 am IST in order to serve US customers.
